Siurana Castle

Siurana Castle is a medieval castle located east of Siurana de Prades. The castle is located by the cliff, in an elevation in front of the town, protecting the only possible natural access. In it there are walls, the base of the tower and a chamber with a vault reinforced by an arch. Much of the construction is done with large skeins and a good invoice. The Christian remains are superimposed on the remains of a califal fortification. The castle was declared a cultural asset of national interest.
